Data stored on your device
The app stores the information you enter about pieces, composers or artists, practice loops, tempo settings and practice attempts locally on your device. This information is used only to provide the app's practice tracking features.
Privacy-friendly analytics
Tempo Ladder uses TelemetryDeck to understand app usage and improve the product. TelemetryDeck receives an anonymous identifier specific to this app installation, app actions such as creating a piece or viewing the Pro screen, a timestamp rounded to the nearest hour, and device metadata such as the app version, system version and device model. Subscription-flow events may indicate that a subscription was started, completed or failed, but no payment details are sent.
Tempo Ladder does not send the names of your pieces, composers or artists, practice-loop text, tempo settings or practice attempts. TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses, use cookies, link the analytics data to your identity or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking. Learn more in TelemetryDeck's privacy policy.
The app does not create user accounts and does not access the microphone, contacts, photos, location or other protected personal information.
Sponsored app recommendations
The free version of Tempo Ladder may show sponsored recommendations for other independent apps through Kickstart Exchange. Tempo Ladder Pro customers do not see these recommendations. Kickstart Exchange processes app-level integration details, App Store storefront country, advert impressions and advert clicks for delivery, accounting, analytics and app functionality. When available, it also processes an Apple-signed App Transaction transiently to verify a genuine install, then discards it.
Kickstart Exchange does not identify or track individual people or devices. Its Product Interaction and Advertising Data are not linked to your identity and are not used for tracking. App-level advert records are retained for approximately 30 days. Tapping a recommendation opens its App Store page. Learn more in the Kickstart Exchange privacy notice.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Tempo Ladder receives the verified entitlement status needed to unlock Pro features but does not receive your payment details.
Audio
The metronome generates audio on your device. It does not record or transmit audio.
Retention and deletion
Your practice data remains on your device until you delete individual pieces or loops, reset local data after a storage error, or delete the app. To keep the local database responsive, Tempo Ladder retains the 2,000 most recent attempts for each practice loop. Deleting a piece also deletes the loops and retained attempts stored within it. Tempo Ladder does not use cloud sync or online backup.
Children
Tempo Ladder does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.
Changes to this policy
If Tempo Ladder's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before those changes are released.
