Camera
Unboxed uses the camera to scan QR codes. Camera frames are processed on your device for scanning and are not sent to Hobby Codex servers.
Scan history
Unboxed stores scanned QR code history locally on your device using iOS app storage. This history is used only to show previous scans inside the app.
Opening QR code content
Unboxed can recognise common QR code content such as website links, email links, phone numbers, SMS links, app links, addresses, and plain text. If you choose to open a scanned link, iOS or the relevant app handles that action.
Analytics and tracking
Unboxed does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.
Deletion
You can clear scan history in the app. Deleting Unboxed also removes its local app data from your device.
